The Engine Room is an initiative by Morley College in London, which continues Morley’s legacy as a leading centre for experimental music and sound art. Adapt Creatives was asked to design a brand identity to reflect the initiative’s creative approach to sound design.
Outcome
Our solution was a ‘dancing’ score icon, which we based on digital sound patterns from an existing symphony. We also helped our developers to design an online submissions platform to enable entry to the competition from around the world. This led to a dramatic increase in submissions that year.
