Knowledge Transfer Network
We designed a new brand identity for KTN, which is a multidisciplinary network of industry thinktanks, funded by InnovateUK.
SERVICES: BRAND DEVELOPMENT, COPYWRITING, PRINTED MATERIALS
Brief
We were approached in 2015 to rebrand KTN, in conjunction with Images&Co in London. Adapt Creatives was asked to design a new identity which reflected the exchange of information between knowledge silos, while being flexible enough to be used in a multitude of scenarios.
Outcome
We created a brand identity based upon the visual rationalisation of communicative cells, each with the ability to connect in a multitude of ways. All layouts are based upon a square grid – derived from the main square icon – and the resulting identity affords both formal application and a more creative execution when needed.
Adapt Creatives also created the core brand elements, including logo variations, colour palettes, printed ephemera, presentation templates and stage one brand guidelines, working with Malcolm Garrett and Kasper De Graff.
The new brand was launched by politician Vince Cable in March 2015.
